ANA President Interviewed for White House Health Reform Video

The American Nurses Association (ANA) continues to ensure the nursing profession’s perspective is clearly heard during the ongoing health care debate. ANA worked with the White House to create the online video, “Who Do You Trust”, which features Vice President Joe Biden, ANA President Rebecca M. Patton, and the American Academy of Family Physicians President Lori Heim discussing the need for meaningful health reform now.

ANA Nurses Stand to Support Health Care Reform at White House

On September 9, 2009, President Obama called on Congress to work together to pass meaningful health care reform. The following day, over 60 ANA nurses stood with the President at the White House to show ANA’s continued support for his efforts. Once again, President Obama showed his commitment to the nursing profession and their importance in the health care reform fight.
