We at ANA believe this is a mistake. In fact, now is the time for nurses just like you to join forces and amplify your voice on the pressing issues facing you and your patients.

On October 20th, the American Nurses Association urged all nurses to volunteer on a political campaign of their choice and hundreds of nurses from around the country heeded the call. They were all taking part in the ANA sponsored Nurses Campaign Activity Night (Nurses CAN 2010). It didn’t matter their political affiliation or what level race they wanted to work on, just so long as they flexed their political muscle by volunteering.
