ANA’s Lobby Day 2010 is Almost Here!

ANA’s upcoming lobby day is approaching fast!  On June 16 nurses from across the country will come to DC to show the advocacy power of nurses, ensuring that their voices are heard on Capitol Hill! 

The day will begin with a breakfast briefing that will include guest speakers who will help prepare you for what to expect, discuss how to best communicate with members of Congress and their staff, and review the key issues and messages for the day.  Some of these issues include:

 Safe Patient Handling

APRN Ability to Certify Home Health Plans of Care

Environmental Health / Safe Chemical Policy

Safe RN Staffing

More Exciting News!  CE Credits Awarded for Lobby Day!
A maximum of 2.5 contact hours will be awarded to nurses who successfully complete this activity.

The American Nurses Association Center for Continuing Education and Professional Development is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

ANCC Provider Number 0023
ANA is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 6178.
