ANA PAC Continues to Represent YOU on the Hill
ANA-PAC is committed to increasing ANA’s strength on Capitol Hill through its financial campaign support of federal candidates who share our healthcare philosphy and advocate for patients and nurses. ANA-PAC has been working hard to fulfill its goal of raising one million dollars is based on a two year (2009- 2010) election cycle, as well as having ten percent of ANA members donate to ANA-PAC.
Thank you to the thousands of ANA members who have donated to ANA-PAC. As of the end of 2009, we are well on our way, having raised $386,536.67, with five percent of ANA members donating to ANA PAC.
With health care reform, safe patient handling, and many, many more nursing issues still on the table in Congress, ANA PAC must remain competitive with others in the health care industry and labor who also have a political action committee:
