HRSA Announces Funding Opportunity for the the Nurse Education, Practice and Retention (NEPR) Program
The Division of Nursing at the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) released on November 11, information on the fiscal year 2010 funding opportunity for the Nurse Education, Practice and Retention (NEPR) Program. Nurse Education, Practice, and Retention grants support schools and nurses at the associate and baccalaureate degree level. Grants are provided to schools of nursing, academic health centers, nursing centers, state and local governments and other public or private nonprofit entities. Some grants (such as grants promoting the Magnet Hospital best practices for nursing administration) are also available to health care facilities.

The Division of Nursing is pleased to announce the fiscal year 2010 funding opportunity for the Nurse Education, Practice and Retention (NEPR) Program. The program announcement number for NEPR is HRSA-10-046. The project officers for this program are Janice Young and Daniel Reed.
