ANA Tweets Health Care on the Hill

ANA’s Government Affairs Twitter feed (www.twitter.com/nursingworld) has become the Twitter feed for nurses and those interested in nursing issues who want to follow the health care reform debate.  With “tweets” at 140 characters or less, ANA’s GOVA Twitter is a great way to get quick bites of what is happening on Capitol Hill.  ANA’s Government Affairs has been using its Twitter feed to update followers on the latest with health care reform – alerting them to upcoming hearings, newly released versions of the bill, and the latest reports on health care reform strategy.

When the House debated its health care reform bill during a rare Saturday session in November, ANA tweeted the debate so you didn’t have to be glued to your television!  With over 65 tweets in one day, ANA gave its followers the highlights of the day’s action and were one of the first to tweet the final vote.

If you’re interested in health care reform but don’t have time to read all the newspapers and blogs to follow the ever-changing bills as they move through Congress, follow ANA at www.twitter.com/nursingworld!  You’ll get all the information you need from ANA’s Government Affairs Twitter feed!  If you don’t have a Twitter account, it’s easy!  Click here to sign up!
